“镜亦境，彼此相依，互为映照。境亦镜，既是观者，亦是行者。” 画面以现代双筒望远镜为载体，两处圆形镜框内，各藏一片青绿湖山，舟船、屋舍、林木栖于水岸，两处景致遥遥呼应，共生共存。作品融入时空哲思，望远镜本是眺望远方的器物，在此化作穿梭时空的媒介，将当代人的目光投向千年前的山水理想。

镜框内外虚实对照，镜中是古典山水之境，镜外是当下现实世界。观者透过这面 “观镜” 凝望风景，凝望之时自身也成为画面的一部分。我们遥望山水，山水亦回望观者。绢本重彩细腻勾勒水岸丘壑，左右两境相互独立又彼此呼应，营造虚实循环的空间意境。这件作品探讨观看与存在的关系，观者在遥望古今山水的过程中完成一场精神漫游，兼具思辨性与雅致东方美学，引人自省，是富有哲思的当代青绿重彩作品。

“A mirror creates scenery; scenery reflects us. We are both the observer and the traveller.”

A modern binocular frame holds two separate green-blue lake and mountain scenes with boats, houses and trees along the shore. The two scenes echo one another and coexist. Following the idea of crossing time, binoculars, normally used to view faraway places, become a medium travelling through time, casting modern eyes toward the landscape ideals of a thousand years ago.

Inside and outside the lens form a contrast between illusion and reality. Within the lens lies classical landscape; outside is our real world. When viewers gaze through this “viewer” at scenery, they themselves become part of the picture. We look toward mountains, and mountains gaze back at us. Fine heavy-colour silk painting draws riverbanks and valleys. The two scenes stand independent yet echo each other, creating a looping atmosphere of reality and illusion. This work explores seeing and existence. Viewers take a spiritual journey while viewing ancient and modern landscapes. Thought-provoking and elegantly Eastern, it invites self-reflection as a philosophical contemporary green-blue painting.
