“昔时情与景，宛在梦中赊。” 绢本重彩绘悠远湖山远景，薄雾之中山峦缓缓延展，沙洲连绵，小舟静泊水面，前景一把木椅静静朝向无尽青绿山河。作品融入时空哲思，这把空椅留给观者，仿佛邀请人落座，回望过往，遥想远古。

画中山水延续东方青绿文脉，石青、石绿层层晕染，将千年山水意境凝于绢素。当我们静坐回望，眼前山河既是古人大地，亦是今人心中的幻梦。旧日风物与情思如梦似幻，隔着岁月遥遥相望。青色跨越时光，连接古今。当我们回望传统，便能看见东方美学生生不息的生命力。画面虚实相生，沉静悠远，为整场观展留下悠长回味。

“Feelings and scenes of old seem distant, like fragments within a dream.”

A far-reaching lake and mountain landscape unfolds in heavy colour on silk. Misty hills stretch out, sandbanks extend and small boats rest quietly on water. In the foreground, a wooden chair faces endless green mountains and rivers. With the concept of crossing time, this empty chair waits for viewers, inviting you to sit, look back to the past and imagine ancient times.

The landscape carries the lineage of Eastern green-blue art. Layers of azurite and malachite green condense the mood of thousand-year-old mountains onto silk. When we sit and look back, the landscape before us belongs both to ancient people and to the dreams of today. Old scenes and emotions appear dreamlike, separated by years. The colour green crosses time and connects past and present. When we look back to tradition, we witness the endless vitality of Eastern aesthetics. The painting blends reality and illusion, calm and timeless, leaving lasting reflections at the end of the exhibition.

Green is the glaze colour on the Ru porcelain cherished by Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty. It is the magnificent mountains and rivers in Wang Ximeng’s A Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains. It appears in the unripe plums described by Li Qingzhao, the steadfast green mountains seen through Xin Qiji’s eyes, and the mysterious Green Ridge Peak written by Cao Xueqin. This shade of Chinese green embodies the reserved, resilient and understated character of the Chinese nation.
